I have to admit, the guy talking in “Wingdings” was pretty funny.

“I have to admit, the guy talking in Wingdings was pretty funny.”
He was accurate, but his punctuation was off.

Geez, this is funny and depressing at the same time--I didn't realize I was such a geek that I got all the jokes
and laughed at them.
I'll tell you how sick I am: my new passion is using 17th- and 18th-century fonts.

Heh, like Cloister Black, Calligrapher, and Sherwood? No. I like the ones that Scriptorium sells, and then I found one called Wyld that some guy made, another called Essays 1743, and then JI-Pantos and JSL-Ancient. I'm having fun with them. The ones that have ligatures are probably a little too old-looking for most correspondence or business applications today, but as I'm putting together a website that involves old stuff, these older fonts are helpful.

I’ve never ventured beyond Microsoft Word for fonts. I don’t have much need for that many variations. I’ll check out those sites, though, just for fun. ;o)
