You CAN give us a summary of the article states if you use your own words.

Example:

“You can’t believe what is happening now! The historical society is now doing this and that. They obviously are run by a bunch of liberal *%$^#.”

Can’t be too careful these days! Don’t want to get yelled at by the Mods or Jim.

Question for you. There is a paragraph in this story that is a quote from the director of the historical society. Since these are not the words of the author, can this be excerpted?.

Is that a trick question?

Everybody knows that reporters rewrite the quotes.

What can be done is for someone to create their own website. Rewrite the article, add some detail and perspective and then post from there.

Example: Major news outlets are reporting that some groups have taken offense to art being recreated as bobbleheads.

In one report, news accounts quote Sir Overly Sensitve as saying he considers it blasphemy. Next thing you know they will be making bobble heads of Christ in a jar of urine as we have on display over here.”

and so on...

Being a Haverhill High graduate, I can tell you what the Abenakis should have known: never mess with those Haverhill ladies!

We know all about the Abenakis, Skippy, that's why we killed as many of them as we could and confined the rest to small corners of Maine and eastern Canada.

And this is no place to advertise your business, Skip.

And they object to the other one because he’s wearing a blue hat? I don’t get it.

There must be something in that New England climate or water that makes women take to the hatchet.

Remember Lizzie Borden and her forty whacks?

Just really bad PMS up here!

The scene of the Borden murders is now a bed-and-breakfast:

Poor Lizzie. No one would have given a second look if it had been “bikini wax” instead...
