What comedian was it who said “It’s a uterus, not a clown car”?

Jikes.......
Reminds me of the comment by some comedian stating.... Its a vagina, lady.... not a clown car.

Why? They can more than love and take care of another child. God will let them know when the quiver is full.
To: GatorGirl
What a blessing for them.

God bless them. We need more families like this. Why? A couple of questions come to mind. WHo is paying for these kids is one. Just how much parental care and guidence is each one getting is another. And what benefit is there to society from having 18 children come from a single litter from two parents rather than 18 children coming from 18 pairs of parents?

Grouch Marx story
Groucho: So, you got any kids?
Female Contestant: Yes, Groucho, I have eleven children.
Groucho: Eleven?! Did you say eleven kids?
Female Contestant: Well, I love my husband.
Groucho: Lady, I love my cigar but I take it out of my mouth once in a while.

I think the benefit is in the tax credit....18 X 1200 .. something over $21K...pretty much negates the taxes on a $60K plus income... Live large, live conservative, no taxes.... love it!

We need more families like this. Oh yes, that would be wonderful if all the families in San Diego, Los Angeles, New York New Orleans, San Antonio, Houston, Phoenix, Miami, Boise, Chicago and Detroit had 18 children.

The way I understand, Mr. Duggar is a successful businessperson; they are financially independent, and well able to support their family.
As far as social benefits as per your scenario, there probably are none. However, as a result of being raised in this household, these kids will probably be as socially stable as they come.

I extend another congratulations. I see a lot of unfounded hostility to this large family, as is fashionable right now. It seems like Population Bomb sentiments, along with some resentment about tax breaks, are still in full force.

Your feeble attempt to be obnoxious by taking my comment out of context is duly noted and duly ignored. While you’re being so intelligent why don’t you try answering the other two questions. (or that one too for that matter)

To answer a couple of your questions, the family is well off financially and all of the children have been homeschooled. Google their name. It’s a great story about a wonderful family.
