A naked man was arrested Tuesday morning after hijacking a Citizens Area Transit bus.
Las Vegas police said the man, 35-year-old Charles P. Sell, was first seen stealing a beer at the 7-Eleven on the corner of Lamb Boulevard and Washington Avenue about 8 a.m.
An officer arrived at the scene and the man fled, a police spokesman said.
Sell then climbed onto the back of a moving CAT bus traveling east on Washington, broke one of the back windows with his fists, and climbed in.
He threw the driver off the bus and drove it about 200 yards before jumping off, according to police. An officer climbed aboard and stopped it.
Sell was arrested and taken to a hospital for a mental evaluation before being booked at the Clark County Detention Center on felony charges of robbery, grand larceny and malicious destruction of private property, according to police.
He was being held on $14,000 bail.
Police said the man was possibly on drugs during the incident.

PCP is pretty amazing stuff. I actually saw a man beat down 5 police officers and escape custody in the ER. They hit him with their billy clubs, and he just kept trashing them. It completely disinhibits, disengauges, and does away with the pain response.

If I’m not mistaken, PCP is used as elephant and large animal tranquilizer, ingested by humans can yield some pretty spectacular results strength-wise and also cause some pretty unusual behavior.

Once again, I’m just relieved that this wasn’t in Florida. As for the proper attire — very true. But, I don’t think the article states as to whether or not he was wearing shoes. Flip flops would have been so tacky, but a nice pair of loafers, on the other hand...

However, here is yet another failure of both the drug war and the war on guns.
This knot-head was still able to get blitzed out of his mind and NO ONE resisted his attempt to steal the bus. Using deadly force on him would have ended his drug crazed attacks real quick...
