For All The Cat~People Of Amy's Place
Adjustments
'Time Outs' are a sometime annoying part of a Kitten's indoctrination
To the overwhelming World all around and are given with reliable hesitation
By My Pretty One who must have had more than one earlier Feline boarder
For she is very wise to my ways of creating havoc and disorder
As I endeavor to playfully expand my skill and horizons while awake
Tempting fate at nearly every turn without taking a break
Fluidlly smooth, low hanging Table Cloths still get the best of me
Slipping and spilling down in a noisy racket before I have a chance to flee
A risky adventure for which there is no conceivable alibi
My Pretty One seems much to smart to even attempt asking "Why?"
She just sets me down to watch her make things nice and neat again
While I contemplate making her latest box for 'Shoes' my latest den
Since battling and shredding rustling paper, I never get enough of
Especially when it uncoils from way up high and wraps 'round like a glove
Making a wondrously soft pillow and blanket for a triumphant Nap
Well aware that when My Pretty One comes Home I cannot beat the rap
So, it's off to the 'Time Out Corner' for some solace and meditation
While I ponder how to best avoid the next embarrassing situation

Oh, don’t we know.....Billie loves horses! Pretty graphic, Billie. Is the dog sitting in the horse’s water bowl? LOL Cute. I enjoyed the horse quotes too, Amy. Thank you both.

Thankyou so for your prayers. This will be a critical test this weekend. She will actually go home for the first time in five weeks, and then on Saturday go to be with her dad for the weekend...without any therapy . Pray that he will know what to do as he hasn’t been in “ the loop” a lot lately.
Cute Graphic too Amy!! *grin*

I have this link Meg sent me last night and it has some attached links. It has been such a sad story. She went missing a week ago from Vermont, the state who goes so easy on child molesters, (Nancy Grace said last night, the worst state out of 50, she said they got an F for Flunk! It has been wall to wall coverage. Looks like to me everyone in her family failed her.

What, Me Worry?
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. Philippians 4:6
Whenever a preacher begins to talk about worry, I sense a pair of eyes staring at me. Without even turning my head, I know that my husband is looking at me to see if Im paying attention.
I hate to admit it, but Im a worrier. And precisely because there are a lot of people just like me, Jesus addressed this problem in Matthew 6:25-34 when He said: Do not worry. Dont worry about the basic needs of lifefood, clothing, shelterand dont worry about tomorrow.
Worry may be a symptom of a bigger problem. Sometimes its a lack of gratitude for the way God has cared for us in the past. Or perhaps its a lack of faith that God really is trustworthy. Or it may be a refusal to depend on God instead of ourselves.
Some people expand the worry circle to their families, friends, and churches. Theyre a lot like the 10 spies in Numbers 13:26-33 who spread their fear and doubt to everyone else. But those who put their trust in God alone can stand alongside Joshua and Caleb, the only ones in the group of 12 whom God allowed to enter the Promised Land.
Dont let worries hold you back from what God may be trying to teach you. He invites you to bring your anxious thoughts directly to Him (Phil. 4:6
When you feel the tension mounting,
And across the busy day
Only gloomy clouds are drifting,
As you start to worrypray! Anon.
