LOS ANGELES Cyd Charisse, who with her long-legged beauty brought sizzle and sophistication to dance in classic movie musicals such as "Singin' in the Rain" and "Silk Stockings," died Tuesday. She was 86.

Dancing in the Dark from THE BANDWAGON is one of the most beautiful dance numbers ever.
It is not just just the old timers that remember her. My three year old son watches THAT'S ENTERTAINMENT, parts one and two constantly. He always asks why she blows smoke in Gene Kelly's face.
