Good morning.
Truckloads of prayers for the beautiful state of Iowa, its wonderful people, and for all others affected by the terrible weather events and flooding.
Yep...after the 3rd martini.
The ARCH-bishop is a female?
OK - that’s what I’ve been looking for 2/3!!! I knew I read it here, and I told DH that he was A-RAB. (that’s when hubby told me some folks think he’s the anti-Christ, and DH always says the AC has to be from the MiddleEast..) So, there ya go! He may not be FROM the ME, but OF the ME. Works for me.
Not that I’m trying to make him fit the mold - just want to keep my beedy eyes wide open.
That child was 1-2 years old - it was beaten so badly, no one can tell yet.
Some guy was slamming the child against the pavement. Just saddddd....
No word yet if the guy was on drugs, or just full of the devil. A cop took him out.
Subject: Urgent Prayer RequestDear Family and Friends, I am writing to you today with a sense of urgency. I am asking that you pray for myself, my unit, and all coalition forces. Some of you may have heard through the news that the Taliban recently had a prison break in Kandahar City. Those reports are accurate. Between 500 to 1000 insurgents have escaped and are currently regrouping. I ask for prayers for protection for all of us and for all of the local nationals in Kandahar. We have received reports that the Taliban is going to try to attempt to retake Kandahar City from the Americans and they also want to retake Kandahar Air Field (which is currently the main base in the Kandahar province). They currently have retaken 5-13 villages outside of Kandahar City and are looking to move into it. I ask for prayer because our position (which is 20 mins outside of Kandahar City) is strategic to the Taliban. They basically have to go through us in order to get to KAF and we have been put on high alert. Security alert is high, and weʼre ready to roll out/defend ourselves within seconds if needed to. Please pray that we get rest and if weʼre put into that situation that weʼre able to fight. Again, please pray for protection and strength as this summer will be a lot harder than the military originally expected. Pray that weʼll be alright and make it through the summer! Thank you and God bless!
In Christʼs Service, Jonathan M.

LOL
No sweetie, the “she” referred to is the governor of Kansas.
I remember the days when we were tormented by the disrespect the toons paid our military, our White House and most of all our country. We haven’t seen anything yet... if he/they’re elected!
LOL, no the governor of KS is. She is a cafeteria Catholic who not only supports abortion, but will veto any prolife bill that comes across her desk! Yet she still calls herself a Catholic.
Good Morning to the Dawn Patrol
Your post #68 above - Amen.
Good morning, I.G.
Regrouping when a power surge crashed my hard drive on the computer with over 800 breakfast files.
minor problem compared to what our friends in the midwest.
The coverage has little to do with Tim Russert. The network bosses reads the polls. They know that a huge majority of the voters believe the meida is biased in favor of their ideology and candidates.
So they have used ths death of Tim Russert to spend three or four days of constant sales pitch on how fair and unbiased and great the media actually is. They used sound bites from both Republicans and Democrats about Russert as away of convinceing the public that the media is truely fair, honest, unbiased and in fact is just asking nasty questions as a means of getting the truth for the viewer.
This was not about Russert. It was about changing the image of the media and they used Russert’d death as the means to try to do it.
How're you doing Toby? Better?
I'm going to try to catch up on my ATRW news today...
Prayers continue for all our brave military.
It’s way too cold out there!
LB, hope you're okay
