Sad news about Tim Russert, one poster said it was reported the heart attack happened in front of other colleagues.

Additionally, although the story has gotten lost somewhat amidst all the flood stories, the tornado that hit KS State University and Manhattan KS area did tremendous damage.

So, so sad.

While Tim and I didn't agree on many issues, he seemed respectful of other's opinions.

My condolences to his family.

This is a shocker!

This is so sudden and sad. He was just 58 and died while at work.

While it is sudden and sad, it sounds as if he lived a very strong and full life, his son had just graduated from college and he and his wife had just returned from a trip to Italy. I would like to go suddenly without any lingering, painful decay.
