If the new 3G iPhone has GPS, I’m in !!

I really like the iPhone design. Plus, it would be nice to be able to combine my current cell phone, Palm Pilot, and Video iPod into one device. I have been thinking about acquiring a hand-held GPS (like the Mio) for awhile now, since they have come down in price. However, I have been holding off buying one waiting to see if the new iPhone will have GPS. If it does, that will be FOUR devices in one, from my point of view.

.....10.6 is code-named "Snow Leopard" and also expects the software to be Intel-only.......

..... as long as Apple continues to support Power PC for a few more years, I'm okay with that. I'm still happily using 10.4.

I know it really isn’t the normal place for them, but I’m hoping for updated MacBook Pros. I’m fairly set on getting one before school starts back, and I definitely want to get the latest and greatest. Last upgrade was all of about a month before the Intel ones came out, that stung a little bit.

If they don’t come out here, please Steve either do it before August or not at all.

Some people found PPC drivers in the “Snow Leopard” code, so apparently the Intel-only rumor is shaky.
