..... as long as Apple continues to support Power PC for a few more years, I'm okay with that. I'm still happily using 10.4.

I had a G4 and was looking forward to upgrading to Leopard - until, at the last minute, they announced that an 800 MHz G4 was too slow to run it. That surprised me a lot - but it pushed me over the edge and I got a new iMac and put the G4 out to pasture as a hand-me-down to the grandchildren.

The G4 is working out well for them, and the 20" screen and the expandable text box I'm typing in now - a feature of Safari under Leopard - work great for me. Love spotlight, too.

I like the speed upgrade, but it really wasn't something I could justify paying for, in and of itself. But I do enjoy it.
