Actor Rupert Everett has criticised Americans in an interview with a TV listings magazine.
He has described them as "whiny victims" whose entire language is taken from US TV series Friends and Sex And The City.
"I'm totally off the States now. The reaction to 9/11 and then George Bush - really, they've got very blobby as a nation" - Rupert Everett
Everett told the magazine: "I'm totally off the States now. The reaction to 9/11 and then George Bush - really, they've got very blobby as a nation.

Meet Rupert Everett and his boyfriend:
He was actually quite good at playing the British snob in several movies: An Ideal Husband, the Importance of Being Earnest. Also a voice-over in Shrek.
Any wonder he did snot well on field? ha! Idiot.

That bit could be true -- I'm not saying it isn't. But it sure looks like a classic bit of wikipedia sabotage.
According to wikipedia, one of the professional dancers on "Dancing with the stars" was a notable prostitute in the Phillipines. This sort of shenanigans is one reason why people are leery of wikipedia.
Of course, if it's true about Rupert, it's another reason to be leery of him.

This Brit has nothing like the anti-American venom of so many American actors.

I always get Rupert confused with Hugh Jackman: Rupert's alias is Hugh Jassolle.

I must admit I have seen him in other roles besides the voice of Prince Charming in the Shrek movies. I saw him as Sherlock Holmes in a relatively recent production and in a film adoptation of Oscar Wilde’s “An Ideal Husband.”
He is famous for complaining he does not get more lead roles because he is an out of the closet homosexual but I think its more due to his limited acting range. The guy can only play upper class English.

Notice how liberals manufacture faux boogymen, because they haven’t the courage to battle the real ones?

He thinks we’re “blobby” because we haven’t ALL thrown our support to an assinine candidate like Obama fast enough to suit him.
To: Perdogg
Ok... Still don’t know him. Should I?

A queer called me blobby....
I don’t think I can go on any longer.
While I am working and chasing cattle and cutting brush piles and welding and feeding my kids all the other things MEN do, all I will think about is some Euro FAG actor called me blobby. I just can’t go on.....

And this is wrong how?
Ok, he’s talking about New York yuppies and not all Americans, but then those are the only Americans he knows and he is right!
