(Vanity)What is it with CNN? All chick, all T&A all the time?

First of all we don't get cable. Haven't for years. So I'm out of the loop TV-wise.
Yesterday had to go to the base hospital/clinic. It seems every TV there was locked on to CNN. So I was stuck watching it...or at least listening to it.
It slowly dawned on me that outside the metrosexual weather guy, every on-air person, live or taped, was a gal....wearing outfits you'd expect to see at an up-sclae martini lounge.
So I'm asking:
- When did CNN (and/or ABC,NBC, etc. for all I know) switch to this "all chick, T & A (well, T anyway) all the time" format?
- Why?!
- Why aren't feminists raising the roof over this? I thought they were all for equality.

I don't know about you out there, but as soon as I see an announcer who's dressed like she should be at the cocktail lounge.... I tune out.
How credible are you with four metric tons of make-up on your mug and cleavage down to your navel. Right! Where are the feminists when you need them?

I’m sorry, CNN can’t hold a candle to the news-women on Fox News!
To: NCBraveheart
Yeah, I'm of the opinion that the women on CNN are definitely minor leaguers compared to the babes on fox.
To: yankeedame
It's not a good weather analysis if it's not from those hot babes @ the weather channel. Jim Cantori has it made.
The all-time CNN Sha-Wing hottie is/was Lynn Russell. The network hasn't fielded a complete woman bombshell like that ever since her 80's era.

What kills me is how all the expert guest commentators are super models. “We go now to Suzie Jones, world renowned expert of the contents of South American monkey vomit.” And bang! There she is, a 6 foot blonde, super model. It’s hilarious.

I don't know about you but Michelle Obama better watch out for Suzanne Malveaux. She's been following Barak around like a bitter clinger for months now!

It isn’t just CNN.
FoxNews has them too.
Some are so bad that they screw up over and over just reading the sentences from the teleprompters.
I just turned off FoxNew. Megan Kelly is fine, alone. Bill Hemmer is fine, alone. For some reason, with them together, Megan gets giddy and giggly around Bill. She acts like she has a grade-school crush on him — and she just got married a few months ago. Giddy and giggly does not belong in on news broadcasts, but with these two it is a daily occurrence.

LOL! They are competing with Fox News. I guess after years being in second they are trying to compete.
