Barack Obama; A Freeper's Thoughts

HOWDY FREEPERS!!!!!!!!

Recently, one of the Democrats running for president made what were some very unsettling statments which caught my attention.

Now, as I've been mentioning we in the conservative and christian community don't really have much of a choice for President. There doesn't seem unfortunately to be much of a difference in the mindsets of the current candidates and that is really unfortunate. it seems like most everyone in Washington is in the pockets of the enviromentalist wackos.

Which brings us to one of the Democrats running for President, Barack Obama. Lately, we've started to see his true colors start to show.

Now, I don't remember the exact quote but it was somewhere along the lines of we all can't drive our SUV 's or eat as much as we like or set our thermostats to where we want to and not have other nations worry about what we think.

Well, excuse me but since where in the U.S. Constitution does it give the President the power to set our thermostats, or control which vehicles we drive or determine who can or can't eat or to confer this authority to the New World Order as Hussien Obama seems to want to do.

Now, I know there are going to be some Barack Obama butt kissers who are going to be howling about me questioning his polices and calling me racist simply for daring to questions his intentions so I have a message for Hussien Obama and all his butt-kissers out there. I'M NOT YOUR B****, B****!!!!!! No one bosses me around and tells me what I will or will not say about your beloved political dieties or their policies.

What Hussien Obama fails to recognize is that when you go and starve people to death, it creates problems. This kind of nonsense has been tried in places like Zimbabwe and Haiti and the result has been massive food riots and violence. This notion of a a sitting President controlling our thermostats, food suppllies and automobiles isn't quite as appealing as he thinks it is. Hussien Obama is really sadly mistaken if he thinks this idea of goverment controlling people's is going to win people over to him.

It is not the job of goverment to go and play G*d with people's lives or tell people how to run their lives. Every person running for office needs to recognize this if he or she is going to expect to gain any respect at all from the voters.

Again, I will remind everyone that there is nothing in the Constitution that gives the President or anybody else is a postition of authority the power to control people thermostats, food supplies, vehicles or any other aspect of their life. Anybody who says or tells you otherwise is an idiot and a dumba**!!!!!!

I would hope those who are contemplating voting for Hussien Obama for President would consider all these things and ask themselves if this is the America they would like to have where lives are controlled by nameless faceless Washington Bureaucrats. This isn't the America our founding fathers had in mind when they put it toghether over 200 years ago and this certainly isn't the America our men and women in the battlefields are fighting and shedding their blood for.

Regards............

IMHO- it won’t be long before our nation will tested in the manner not seen in many years.

Our elected officals ignore the will of the people. Out of control speading, perks for the ruling class.

There may be only one solution to this mess.

April 25, 2008 Fort Wayne, IN - Michelle Obama:

“We've lost sight of the fact that we are one another's brothers' and sisters' keepers in this nation. We have to prepare to sacrifice something big for the greater good. In order to do that, you have to feel some faith and trust and inspiration in our leadership. I don't think there's anyone else in this race who's going to be able to unify this country, who's going to be able to change the way politics is done, who's going to bring people together who never thought they had anything common before and who's going to do it in a way that's decent and honest. That man is my husband, Barack Obama.”

BO Yesterday: we must be prepared to “... be unified in service to a greater good.

Someone needs to ask BO to describe in detail what he means by the "greater good" and what will have to be sacrificed to attain his imagined nirvana. Freepers know exactly what he means. But there are a bunch of mush brains out there who don't and they are falling for his socialist snake oil!

I wonder if the college student geniuses understand that if Obama gets his way, they will have to give up their Wii, iPhone, HDTV, and Prius so everybody can have an Atari Pong game, landline with dial phone, black&white TV, and Yugo. Will they wake up when they find he wants to take away not just from the very rich but from them? BHO aims to make America the world’s plantation and Americans their slaves.

That's the problem with ALL of Obama's rhetoric. He makes a big general statement. But the solution is whatever you THINK it will be.

There are solutions to many things...Many are self evident....like getting a job..like not taking a second mortgage on your house because you always wanted a dream kitchen....like using contraception

Why should you or I have to pay for someone else's negligence?

Illness, bad fortune is another case. People do need help...

With unemployment at 5%, there should be a substantial savings in handouts...

The governments solution...use the money for BIGGER and better handouts.

Government (and Teachers) Pensions...AND SALARIES....Way out of line...

we all can't drive our SUV 's...

The key word is "all." The ruling elite will still be allowed to consume extravagantly.

Beyond that, he wasn't saying that he, as President, would decide if we get to drive SUVs, set our thermostats on 72 and eat as much as we want. He was saying other countries would decide whether or not it was "OK".

Well, the idea of other cooutries making those decisions for us is something that I and a lot folks find very frightening.

We need a President who still with us against the NWO, not one who's going to take sides with the NWO and against us.

Wetried one such President. Jimmy Carter. It didn't work out too well as you might have imagined.

Thanks, Dilbert56 for your observations. Bumping for more replies.

Michelle Obama Under Fire for 2004 Letter Defending Partial-Birth Abortions

Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) -- Michelle Obama, the attorney wife of pro-abortion Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama, is coming under fire for a letter she wrote defending partial-birth abortions. The 2004 letter, written to help Obama in his campaign for his U.S. Senate seat, opposes the ban on the abortion procedure.

In February 2004, Michelle Obama penned a fundraising letter to help her husband Barack raise funds for his Illinois-based Senate seat.

The letter contends the federal ban on partial-birth abortions "is clearly unconstitutional" and "a flawed law."

Though the three-day-long partial-birth abortion procedure involves the partial birth of a baby during the middle trimester of pregnancy and the jamming of scissors into the back of her head to kill her, Obama's wife describes it as "legitimate" medicine.

"The fact remains, with no provision to protect the heath of the mother, this ban on a legitimate medical procedure is clearly unconstitutional and must be overturned," Michelle Obama writes in the letter.

She also said the Bush administration should not encourage the abortion practitioners who sued to reverse the ban to drop their lawsuit to make it unconstitutional. The Supreme Court later sided with Bush and Congress in saying the ban is legitimate.

In closing, Obama told prospective donors that they could "count on" Barack to "keep the Bush team from appointing the Supreme Court justice that will vote against Roe v. Wade."

Noted pro-life advocate Jill Stanek highlighted the letter on her blog and said Michelle was "leeching off the partial birth abortion ban" to raise funds for her husband.

"I'd like to ask Michelle to explain her legal opinion about this law the Supremes went on to declare constitutional," Stanek said.

"I'd like to ask Michelle how in the world she could in good conscience raise money from fear-mongering about this barbaric abortion procedure," she added.

Stanek pointed out that Barack Obama recently issued a warning to "lay off my wife" after she came under fire about an unrelated issue.

Stanek said the request amounted to:

"Free speech for me but not for thee "
"-- something she called "a typical left-wing position
."

"So it's fine to kill late-term babies, but we can't risk hurting Michelle's feelings about it," she added.
