Good morning!
Well, Hillary has done it again: created a geat disturbance in the political atmosphere with a reference to June '68, RFK, and presumably his assassination, as a reason for her staying in the race at this late date.
What do you think? Intentional or not? Calculated or not? Another sign of Clinton desperation?
We shall see...

Yeah, but Dog never did answer me back. I hope he won’t mind a few drop-in guests.

I need to step away from the computer for a while. I might not be back until morning.

Raining here this morning - glad I mowed yesterday.
Much discussion on late night radio re: Hillary's foot in mouth moment.
Jemma Carter wants the super delegates to tell her to quit. (GEEZ! everytime I hear that man's voice my barf alert alarm goes off)

More rain here this morning. There will be no fence painting, again, today.
I have a decent sized bag full of Goodwill donations as a result of my venture into the closet yesterday. There are 2 closets in that bedroom. One has order restored, the other,,, well, let’s just say it ‘needs work’. Progress, however small, was made yesterday.

OH BOY! Closet cleaning something I really need to do! I admire your courage to tackle such a thankless job :-)
But, instead of closet cleaning, I am returning to my knitting and an old movie....perfect activity for a rainy day on the north coast of Oregon...

It's amazing how much room I have in my closet now. I pulled all of my uniforms (except for one set of blues and one set of chef's) off of hangars and put them in C bags and moved those to the garage. Still not enough room for anyone to move in and share space with me, but plenty of room for me. ;)
I wound up with 6 full bags out in the garage. I did leave one 'go-bag' in the house, just in case the USAF loses it's mind and insists on having an old f@rt back in uniform.

When I left the former position in October, I transfered my SGLI (Serviceman's Group Life Insurance) to VGLI (Veterans Group Life Insurance) and sent them a payment for the first quarter...... I've been looking for the second quarter bill since... oh... January. I got a note in the mail yesterday, saying that they had accepted my application, and my next payment will be sometime in August.
It's such a joy dealing with the Fed Gov. I'm glad I'm not relying on them for my healthcare... oh. wait... I am.

Hi All, Yes, Phoenix is one of mine. I just got back in town from my high school reunion and I am headed out to work to 'watch' the landing. Wishing Phoenix luck! GO PHOENIX! See you all later.

Have a blessed day.Thank you, kassie. You, too!
When we visited Molly and Dolly we had breakfast at Bob Evans. Greg had stuffed pancakes. That's pancakes with vanilla cream cheese filling and blueberry topping.
Since we are off Atkins for this weekend, I tried to copy the recipe. Greg said it was great. In fact, he said it was the best meal I ever made. I'm not sure how I should take that because I'm proud of my Prime Rib Roast dinner. ;-)

I am brainstorming over decorations for that rehearsal dinner on July 4. We’re going with a patriotic theme and I’m thinking I would like to do a table fountain as a focal point of the decor.
Anybody have any ideas of what that fountain might look like? I’m thinking of using some floating candles in the water. That’s about all I’ve gotten to at this point.

I’m proud of your prime rib roast, too. Please be sure to bring that to Dog’s little party.

Severe weather headed this way. I have a survival kit pack and sitting beside the basement door.
If I am not here tomorrow, it will be because I have no power.

Mmmmm, Bob Evans... we don’t have them down here, but we enjoyed them when we lived back East. LOL, Prime Rib sure sounds good to me! G. must really have liked those pancakes.
