But summer kicked off a few weeks back with "Iron Man" (which was cool).
Actually, most of my summer movie viewing was supposed to take place in May this year. Just about all the movies that I wanted to go see are out now.
Geriatric Jones and the Depends of Doom.
Looking foward to it. Prince Caspian is a great movie too.
I hate when sequels rehash what works from the original movie, and I’m hoping that Indy 4 doesn’t do this.
I was looking forward to seeing the movie but my enthusiasm has gone down after I heard about Harrison Ford doing that silly PSA commercial where he has chest hairs ripped out with tape/wax and saying something to the effect thats what the earth feeels from deforestization...
My 20 year old saw it last night. He thought it was mediocre, and too contrived, relying on too much “old” stuff.
I’ll probably enjoy it more than he did. I really liked Iron Man, haven’t seen Narnia yet, but Narnia is winning the box office $$$ race by a substantial amount.
How good is “Ironman” folks?
A little side note: A good deal of the filming for this new Indiana Jones movie took place in New Haven, CT, my home state last summer.
The trailors that are being shown on TV seem to show Jones killing American soldiers. I’m not sure I want to spend my money watching a “hero” doing that. Am I wrong in my perception? Am I missing something?
The Comunist Russians were the bad guys (its the 50's) who got their comeuppance and students on Indy's campus (they used YALE) were holding a rally with anti communist RED signs reading "Better Dead than RED"!
A good time was had by all. Go see it, you won't be disappointed.
