Toby, you are about to have a great adventure!!! I was absolutely shocked when I took the bandage off my eye after cataract surgery! I had the first eye done in August and the 2nd in September of 2006. I just had a check-up last Tuesday and have 20/20 in the R eye and 20/15 in the L eye.
The only "downer" is you will notice that, overnight, someone will have replaced your mirrors so that the person you see has aged considerably.

IG, my Buck roses arrived yesterday in beautiful condition. (I am so impressed w/Chamblee's Rose Nursery...after all the trouble I've had w/plants from Wayside Gardens, a site I will never be ordering from ever again.)

My brother went with the men from his church to our state house and he said among all the men, only one was a democrat. When they met with 2 Congressmen, the Democrat went at the 2 Congressmen fast and furious and my brother reported that the 2 Congressmen held their ground quite well. His report put a big smile on my face. ;o)
TTVA....I am very concerned about this coming election also. I do hope that the nation will wake-up also. Hopefully they will do that this Memorial Day week-end while we remember the ones who gave all!

Wow, sounds like Hillary stepped in it today. I realize the comment was probably not intended as it sounded, she was trying to illustrate how quickly things can change, etc. but it was tellingly tasteless.

I will never forget that plus his statements that he was an A student through grade school, high school, university, PLUS he received 4 degrees, ALL As. Perfect student, then we find out he barely made it through college, a low C student and diarhea of the mouth to boot.
