Its a quarter century lated and Im still not over it. I sympathize. I used to love the taste of Coca-Cola, till some time in the early 1990s I noticed it always tasted like "Santa coke"-the coke cans sold around Christmas time had Santas on them, and the contents were relatively bitter or harsh in flavor. (We hypothesized that that's because they put less sugar in it then so people could mix it with alcohol. )I now realized that's because they had changed from sugar to high fructose corn syrup, but at the time all I knew is coke now "sucked". So I quit drinking it and switched to Sprite, and now I rarely drink sodas at all.

I am still in mourning for Keebler’s (?) Lemon Coolers.(Or was it Lemon Koolers? Either way.)

A sad, sad day. Hydrox tasted better than Oreos.

Also, the versions overseas still have real sugar. I like the Jones Cola- only cane sugar!! The flavor difference is huge.

When I did eat Oreos, I didn’t dunk them. I don’t dunk anything. Now that I’m diabetic, when I do choose to have a cookie, it’s sugar-free only.

"I liked Hydrox better. "
Years ago, Salerno made an awesome chocolate covered graham cracker. After they went out of production, I tried several others, but they never came close.

I’d have thought the best of all worlds would have been an American home, European Job, and Japanese wife. Large home, plenty of vacation time and.... I don’t know whats so brilliant about a japanese wife...

I liked Hydrox better. I thought I was the only one.
Actually, they would freak this English chick out because the cookie part is even sweeter than Oreos.

For some reason, I dont equate good food and Britain. 8-DThey have some good food items. Fish and chips, can't beat that. Great cheeses.
They don't seem to like spicy food, though. I had to ask extra spicy at the Chinese and curry places i went to.

They need to send Paul Manning over there. ;-) LOL!
They seem pretty hostile to Oreos. Better send this guy too :)
