This morning it’s off to the vet to have the dog checked over, shots received and nails trimmed. I anticipate my wallet will suffer again.

Bigtime! Sam's worth it.

After watching the video of the bus driver getting beaten, I'm furious. Just before the perp got on the bus another man got on. Why the heck didn't he wrestle the perp down? He would have caught him off guard.

Sometimes I wonder where we are headed. It scares me.

Disheartening, yes, lysie, and very depressing.
I find I cannot watch or listen to much of the banter.
I’ve been reading a lot and working outside. Those things leave me in a much better mood.
However, I will keep up with things and vote for McCain in the end.... and push Conservatism any chance I get.

I’m with you. I don’t even turn the tv on until 3:30 and then it’s to play Jeopardy against my son! Then off it goes and we go outside for awhile before I start dinner.

I used to be a FOX news watcher, but found I could only take so much of them too.

Since it will be raining today I will be cleaning inside, which needs much attention.

I’m cleaning in the morning. I ironed for almost 2 hours yesterday and now I can barely move my right arm. I can play tennis for 3 hours at a time and have no problems, but not iron for 2 hours. I guess I need to give up ironing. :)

Or iron more often! :(

Yes, the CRAT is going to use race to the ultimate effect as far as they can throw it to get BHO elected. The CRAT would surrender anything they could to the terrorists to get BHO elected. The CRAT is FRANTIC to get BHO elected. All efforts and all energy will be focused on getting BHO elected whether legal or illegal - if the believe they can get away with it. lysie, this is BY FAR the worst candidate the CRAT has ever put up to ram down our throats and I greatly fear we are in big trouble and our nation is facing the greatest danger yet by even having to consider this #$^$#^@, let alone putting him and the CRAT Congress in complete, absolute control of the government, after he appoints his Supreme Court justices.

Molly, did you hear Bill Bennett admit at the end of the show today that BHO is currently the most likely to win the presidency? I am very incensed at Bill for this because he has been spewing for weeks that BHO was "the weaker candidate" and easier to beat than Hillary. I have been screaming for weeks that Hillary is easier to beat than BHO. I wish I could have a good talk with Dr. Bennett about this.

Good morning, kassie. FOX went from center right to left of center a few years ago when several conservatives left and were replaced by the liberal likes of Greta. A large part of FNC is just a-political entertainment.

I'm with lysie on my discouragement of this pre-election. Even if we win with McCain, we are going to have problems because of the radical left majority in Congress. If we lose, I believe we will suffer severe irreparable damage to our Republic.

My husband has told me that we will get Carter years to snap some people out of their trance. (Not his words exactly, but close enough.)

So sad.

I'm usually an optimist. Now, I'm a realist and the likelihood of that happening is real.

I remember when the toon (the impeached 42) ran for the first time, everyone kept saying he could never get elected. The sheeple were clearly underestimated. As much as I absolutely can NOT stand Mc. I have to vote for him. bho is so much more evil and conniving than the toon or mrs. toon could ever be. What is wrong with people? How could they ever entertain the thought of a man who refuses to wear a lapel pin of the American Flag of being the best American to be president????? Are the sheeple really that ignorant????
