Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

Sing hey! for the bath at close of day
That washes the weary mud away!
A loon is he that will not sing:
O! Water Hot is anoble thing!
O! Sweet is the sound of falling rain.
and the brook that leaps from hill to plain;
but better than rain or rippling streams
is Water Hot that smokes and steams.
O! Water cold we may pour at need
down a thirsty throat and be glad indeed;
but better is Beer, if drink we lack,
and Water Hot poured down the back.
O! Water is fair that leaps on high
in a fountain white beneath the sky;
but never did fountain sound so sweet
as splashing Hot Water with my feet!

Have you gotten your $2000 FEMA check yet?
I’m sure it’s coming any day now... think I should use it on a fur coat and some jewelry?
Someone with photoshop needs to do something with ‘American Gothic’ and Looterguy...
Beautifully done.
...or reloading equipment...
We have the press... now we just need everything else...
mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm... everything else...
tumbler, trimmer, digital scales, dies, powder, primers, etc...
Got a die set. If we start with clean brass we just need powder, primer, led, brass and a scale.
And a place to mount the thing.
That’s a lovely tribute. I’ve not seen those hats before; the ones being worn by the soldiers doing the gun salute, and the soldier giving the flag to the officer. They look like the hats worn by the Aussie Light Infantry.
I know I’m gonna regret sayin’ this, but don’t fergit the case lube...
Those were drill sergeants... the males wear the traditional Smokey Bear, the females wear the folded brim.
Do you need a special kind or does some other kind work ;P
I like the Dillon case lube... leaves very little residue in the dies... unlike One Shot.
Very well done, thanks for posting the link. OB & LSA
G’nad: Does Dillion have carbide dies for the .223? I know they are right handy with the pistol calibers. Bottleneck vs. straight case the difference?
talon; you’ll turn into a brass rat just like the rest of us reloaders. Clean cases make clean reloads. Get a good cleaner. (G’nad - wasn’t going to call it by its proper name):-)
Oh, OK. Thanks for the explanation. They look very nice on the women.
They do, and they cost 4 times what a set of RCBS cost... $123 a set... you still gotta use case lube...
I found a great source for once fired 5.56 brass... $76/1000 ordered on Thursday, was here when I got home tuhday... cleaned and reamed... no swaging necessary...
they gots all kindzuh brass... up to .50 BMG
Cain't you use thesamedevice you use on Stinky?
A fitting tribute. Thanks for sharing.
