My Dragonfly And Me
If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky I would never be shy just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun by day we would hide from the sun our fragile wings would come undone
On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guide we would dip and we would glide through the heavens open wide and scatter diamonds in the night sky my Dragon Fly and me...
And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night... to kiss their face in our flight much to their surprise and delight my Dragon Fly and me in sight...
Such a view do we share away up here in the air of breezes soft through our hair my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

Two kit foxes were running after their mom across the patio
very early this morning ..She took them home..They were babies
and so cute.

at dusk from the island in the river, and it's not too cold,
I'll wait for the moon to rise, then take wing and glide to meet him.
We will not speak, but hooded against the frost soar above the alder flats, searching with tawny eyes.
And then we'll sit in the shadowy spruce and pick the bones of careless mice,
while the long moon drifts toward Asia and the river mutters in its icy bed.
And when the morning climbs the limbs we'll part without a sound,
fulfilled, floating homeward as the cold world awakens.

Isn’t that poem lovely. And to find a picture to go so well with it was pure happiness.

You’re especially fortunate with the foxes, their being so shy and all. Maybe they see you as foxy.

Thank you for the tunes!
Off and on, among other things like housework, I'm enjoying the music you're posting.

You’re welcome LadyJag, glad you enjoy the tunes. ;0)

Unlike the raccoons, the foxes are skittish and more easily spooked..They live down in the ravine and are around now and then..to check out the burdseed or get a drink..I was so thrilled to see kits..First time ever.

That is a treat for sure, I don’t think I’ve ever seen baby fox, plenty of adult red, and gray. Getting up early does have rewards!
