I bought the collectors leather bound edition as soon as it came out. My only gripe was that Mr. Waterson changed a few comics to make them more PC.

While I never shelled out for the collection, I do have quite a few of Waterson's collections.
C&H is timeless, and no matter how often I've read them, I can go back and read them again. To this day, some reduce me to tears from laughing so hard.
The day he announced that he was ending the strip was one of the saddest days I've ever experienced.
