Good morning!
2 primaries tomorrow.
Rev. Wright gave an astonishing, jaw-dropping speech before the NAACP last night. Will it be covered by the MSM? Is this the kind of speech we need to get beyond the race issue - Obama's first position during this campaign season, OR to confront honestly this country's racial history - Obama's second , post-Wright position, during this campaign season?
I understand the Rev. will be talking at the National Press Club this morning....covered probably by CSPAN.
It is better thank you - the worst is during the night when I grind my teeth.
So stop worrying about us not being here.....there are more people lurking in the shadows than you can imagine....those people just don't post.
How is JT? My cousin's boy is in Texas and it seems reports of his injuries were overstated. He is injured but not to the extent thta was reported earlier. thank you all foryour kind thoughts and prayers. I guess getting blown out of a vehicle that runs over an IED isn't fun...
You grind your teeth, too? I do. My dentist is always commenting on it. But, it is subconcious. I don’t know how to stop it. Hubby doesn’t hear it. He snores too loudly.
I’m supposed to doing the billing right now.
NOTE TO LURKERS: We need you. We need your humor, stories and insights into the news stories of the day. This thread is where Rush got his idea for Operation Chaos and he does most of his show prep right here, as does Sean Hannity and O’Reilly. Rush, however, has quoted from this thread a time or two almost verbatim. It’s your chance at fame!
I imagine that getting blown out of a vehicle does get your heart pumping just at tad faster. I’m glad the injuries were overstated but still hope he gets all better real soon.
JT is fine. He and his fiance and his MIL are heading up to Michigan for a shower.
On another note, Mr Hubby and I are both participating in the JDRF walkathon on June 1. He's walking, I'm working a table. Anyone who wants to support us in this endeavor to raise money for juvenile diabetes research, just freep mail me and I give you the details. I say every 1 or 2 dollar contribution helps! And thank you in advance if you are interested.
Perhaps we should look into those machines this summer. I used to use a mouthpiece back in the early ‘80s. But it really is untenable. Plus, I ground it up!
Good on you for the walk-a-thon. How far is the course?
Dog, this makes me feel a lot better, teh LAST thing I want to see is the site just fade away.
I can’t tell you the joy and happeness i get from you all.
toby
It’s a 5k walk. I’m the team captain, so I’m doing a lot of work upfront. Mr Hubby is rallying the troops where he works and they are raffling off an Edible Creations basket (2) to raise money. He is really quite clever in thinking up these ideas. He called the local creations owner and got two baskets donated.
My other team members are emailing friends and family to get sponsorship. We live in this wonderful age of technology so donating online is easy.
((blush))) thank you...
Remember Toby, I have your phone number.... you won’t get lost.
I gotta go finish getting ready for chapel.
That is , at least I’ll keep in touch. I KNOW others will too. We’re a family here....don’t ‘cha know?
Say a little prayer for me, will you? (((swak)))
It sounds like someone didn’t want their name known?
That is good news HOB.
Good on you HOB. My son became diabetic at 11. It’s a cause near and dear to my heart.
so....how was it? Ping me, will you?
