VANITY: "Confusin-laws" ... My son is about to marry the cousin of his sister's husband.

The inlaws would like a word to help us define our relationships.
Is there a name for the relationship the parents have to each other?
We are more like sisters than inlaws. Explaining the marriages makes
your brain explode so we'd like to find a short name to tell the story
more succinctly.
My daughter is her brother's cousin in-law.
My son is his sister's cousin in-law.
My daughter's mother in law is her brother's aunt.
My son's mother in-law is his sister's aunt.

Son in law’s uncle/aunt ?
Have you thought about an assassin? It would be simpler.

These kinds of relationships were very common in my parents’ generation. Generally, the people would refer to each other by their primary relationship. My husband’s family just calls everyone ‘cousin’ regardless of how distant removed or how close. Keeps things simple.

Sometimes it’s easier to just eliminate the problem.

Is there a name for the relationship the parents have to each other? As I understand it, the answer is no. My sister-in-law's husband is just my sister-in-law's husband. Your son's sister's husband is his brother-in-law, but his brother-in-law's cousin is just his brother-in-law's cousin.
Obligatory song.

My son is about to marry the cousin of his sister's husband.
First of all your son is not a blood relative of his sisters husbands cousin.
So what is the objection? Do you have some other underlying objection to this marriage? Or do you feel the need to explain to anyone and everyone you meet, the distant marital, non-blood, in-law relationship?
Living on the East Coast, I have cousins who live and grew up in California who I havent seen or had any contact with since 1976.
Suppose I meet a really great guy who I will choose to call Fred and I find out that Fred is the cousin of one of my cousins in-laws?
I and my family would just introduce him as my fiancé Fred and I wouldnt feel any need to explain the distant non-blood in-law relationship to anyone but my closest friends and then only as a isnt a small world sort of strange coincidence sort of thing.

You bring up a good point about west coast and
east coast relatives.
We in fact are delighted about the unions. This
family is well known, thus people around town
sort of have heard about it. So (when asked) we
find ourselves trying to explain the connections.
It’s actually fun and makes for good converstaion.
The quest for a shorter explanation is merely a
friendly exercise.

Yes, I’m getting a kick out of the West Virginia and
