When I came on FR this morning my configuration had changed. In order to see my sidebar I have to use the bottom scroll arrow to see it. I went to 'configure sidebar' but to no avail. I also went to my account to tinker with 'my preferences'. There are only three options on it now. (1) Thread Pagination (2) Browsing (3)Windows
None of these are any help in getting back by previous layout.
Any help sure would be appreciated.

Sorry. This new format makes FR much less user-friendly. I find it difficult to use, and I’m sure I’m missing a ton of articles I used to be able to browse at a glance.
Truth to be told, I use FR a lot less since the change, and enjoy it less.

The problem occurs in Firefox, but not in Explorer.

I don’t like the new set up at all. It’s hard to read the Title of the thread....it’s the same font color as the source and it confuses the whole page.
Vut I thought Firefox was our savior!?
I had to close out this thread and come back through “Post to you” It won’t refresh to show additional comments. Grrrr.

I had a weirded out page when my explorer program openned FR today. It’s back to normal now.
Now, now, voltage, too early in the morning to be denigrating Firefox. lol

A number of the recent changes have been annoying.
I’ve been using computers now for over thirty years - If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.
I hate going to a site that’s changed and then having to spend precious time trying to figure out how to do something that worked all along...
like “search”...

This is the first time it’s happened to me. I love being able to see the sidebar at a glance, not having to scroll to the right to read it.
I agree 100%. Sometimes change is not good.
I have the same problem as you describe. It started this morning. The FR page is too wide for my browser screen; it somehow doesn’t sense or respect the browser-window size. My sidebars are waaaaaaaay over to the right; I must scroll to get them.
From the posts on this thread, it seems a common affliction.
Folks, it might help JohnRob to debug this if we provide information about our setups. I’m using Firefox 2.0.0.12 under Linux.
