The bill's sponsor from Hawaii tells all, they just can't get over the fact that The University of Hawaii was not as good as they claim to be.

How are you going to work a playoff system in football? Not as simple to do as in basketball.

They should be investigating “Big Academia” for anti-trust violations and price gouging long before they investigate the NCAA. Having said that, this is probably more in keeping with the interstate commerce clause than 95% of the stuff currently being interfered with and regulated under that premise.

Oh they are just jealous that SEC teams keep winning the BCS Championship.

We must stop this insanity!.......The Dem investigation, not the BCS, which is insanity, but totally legal.......

Yes. They are from the government and they’re coming to help.

More pols sticking their noses into things they have no business meddling in....again.

We must make if fair for all so no one’s feelings are hurt.

Just the kind of important thing Congressmen should be doing. (sarcasm)

I'm all for the playoff system but the federal government getting involved because one disgruntled Congressman doesn't like the fact his school was passed over is a cure that's worse than the disease. Our founding fathers never meant for Congress to abuse the power granted to them by the Constitution. This is a matter for private citizens to pursue in a court of law. It is more ludicrous considering Congress has far more important issues to consider.

First, get rid of the NCAA. After it's gone then let students get free dinners from alumni. Then let the best athletes go to the highest bidders.

At least let the athletes make a little money before they flunk/flame out, get injured or get passed over by the pros. With that money they can actually pay for an education.

Let's see. Hawaii...Georgia...left out of National Championship consideration?

Idaho...got me there.
