Good morning everyone!
1000+ Iraqi security forces are fired following the Basra attack. They had refused to fight against the Shi'ite insurgents.
Pres. Bush will discuss the airline inspection debacle with the Transportation Sec. today.
O spent the weekend deflecting Hillary's vigorous attacks over his PA comments from last weekend. Time will tell how successful he is.

OBAMA, not needing to tell you all that this guy is as dangerous as a stick of dynamite carried around in your pocket with the fuse lit. Hey there, GC! So good to see you back in the saddle. What an excellent thumbnail description of the extreme danger this camouflaged radical Marxist presents to us.

Good article Bit. Yet one of Molly’s links indicates that the superdelegates are still flocking toward Ding Dong.
I sure hope McCain picks a truly marvelous Veep spot. It would help me tremendously to support his candidacy instead of simply acknowleging he’s better than the others. But not by much...
Molly, sorry to read about the situation with your mom. Please let me know if there is anything I can do.
Good morning everybody. A storm system must be passing through up north because in the matter of just a few minutes the breeze switched around from the north and the temperature dropped at least 10 degrees. It’s chilly jacket weather in deep S. TX right now.

A caller then suggested we give them McCain and have our primaries again and get ourselves a more conservative candidate. LOL! Great idea, however I think McCain would win. He appeals to many people center and left of center except at barking moonbat levels.

Well, that's the other shoe I am waiting to drop, the missing investigative reporting on Nobama's ties to the Dem Political Machine in Chicago. They touched on it a little bit with that house that he bought for a song, but there must be much, much more...
The other thing about Nobama, when compared to Der Schlickmeister, is that Bubba would just come out with the big lies, one after another, depending on the crowd he was in front of at the time. Didn't matter who it was, he shape-shifted to meet the expectation, even though he didn't mean a word of it.
With Nobama, it's one way, all the way, straight far-left liberalism. He tries to fudge the edges of his stance (like lying about his wanting to ban handguns (said he never said it, but he did) and saying people making $97k-200k would be exempt from new payroll taxes (they're not)) but he sticks to his liberal stance. And when he is cornered, he comes up with some off-the-wall example of something or someone that excuses his stance.
At least Mondale looked the country in the eye and said, 'I make no excuses, I WILL raise your taxes.' ;-))

Hey prairie! Yes, we probably had best cut our losses and keep McCain, because he would probably win either way. True, he definitely appeals to more of the center to left of center than any other candidate we could come up with. I'm still sold on having a president that I agree with 70%-80% of the time than one I agree with maybe 2% of the time or, worse yet, the most dangerous viable candidate in my lifetime, who
I agree with NEGATIVE 100% of the time.Excellent: "barking moonbat levels" LOL!

Check this out from the
Peggy Noonan WSJ column:
"...This is what I think will happen. At some future point Mrs. Clinton will leave, and at a more distant one she will try to come back. But more than one cycle will have to pass before she does. She'll need more than four years to shake off the impression she made in 2008. And this is how you'll know she's making another bid for the presidency. She will wear skirts. Gone will be the pantsuits that made her look like a small blond man with breasts.
It's the new me, I wear skirts! Her first impulse is to think cosmetically. A long and weary life in politics has left her thinking this is the way to think..."
Hahahahaha!!! ;-))
To: Bitwhacker
I think Peggy is correct except for the dresses part. Hillary knows her lower extremiities are her least flattering feature. Cameras put on pounds in and of themselves. Hillary is ultimatly aware of appearances.
