1000+ Iraqi security forces are fired following the Basra attack. They had refused to fight against the Shi'ite insurgents.
Pres. Bush will discuss the airline inspection debacle with the Transportation Sec. today.
O spent the weekend deflecting Hillary's vigorous attacks over his PA comments from last weekend. Time will tell how successful he is.

My mother may be discharged in 2-3 days. She's getting some strong antibiotics for the wound inflammation, and would continue to get treatment at the Wound Center as an outpatient.
She continues to reject a surgical procedure which would likely help her, but she considers unacceptable.
If the antibiotics fail to do the trick, as the Infect. Dis. Dr. thinks will ultimately happen, my mother, without the surgery, would face a chronic infection situation, & all that ultimately means.
I'll continue to try to get her to think about the surgery, but....must be prepared, and my sister, too, for the likely outcome.
Will know more by end of day, I imagine, as MRI results will be available, and the Wound Center nurses and dr. will check on her today again.

She wants, so badly, to be co-president. I was passing by the tv last night and saw nobama making some snide remark about the great debate. I saw him make some sort of hand movement then brushed some dust or something off his suit. What was that about?

But Nobama was really rattled at that debate, on easy questions like cap-gains taxes...the Tom Coburn-is-my-friend-too remark, equating a fellow senator with a former Weather Underground terrorist who bombed federal buildings and still says he should have bombed even more, was despicable...;-))
Thanks for the news Miss M. Very interesting articles. Isn’t that carter fellow the worst of the worst? He and his wife are so in need of publicity they will do most anything. He pretends he’s representing the United States and tells us this is a private visit. What good is his visit doing? The arabs are using his appearance for benefit, they aren’t dumb. He has been a thorn in America’s side ever since he lot the presidency. He’s a terrible loser.
Along those lines, I saw a bumper sticker yesterday that said "I MISS BILL" and I thought - I think I do too - (thinking about NObama) Did we think it could get any worse? NOOOO
I think, personally, the msm is finally getting the idea, no matter how messaih-like they have portrayed obama, the average American is not buying it. If Charlie and George asked “difficult” questions, maybe it was time to drop the messaih imaging and start reporting who obama really is. I have thought, for some time, the great amounts of money he’s been aquiring is not from the “little people” but from people in the soros organizations and some of the arab organizations.
On a lighter note, yesterday, Rush advised the CRAT to dump both candidates, as they were both now virtually unelectable, and put someone else in there, even if it's algore. A caller then suggested we give them McCain and have our primaries again and get ourselves a more conservative candidate. LOL!
My ‘little’ mishap[p in the shower, wasn't as bad as thought, think I was afraid I had done something but feel great now, thanks for all your concerns, I got me a non slip pad to go in the shower and feel safer now anyhow.
OBAMA, not needing to tell you all that this guy is as dangerous as a stick of dynamite carried around in your pocket with the fuse lit. It is a shame that folks in this country could fall for the film flam he preaches. I do hope Rush changes his talk and gets behind ‘the Senator’, I do think I am hearing a little turn in his ways recently.
A man who will not wear the Amercian flag on his lapel tells the true feeling of this radical. Surely McCain will obtain the entire background on this ‘El Nuto’ (a little Spanish this morning ya know).
Man. Got he ‘rambles’ this morning so, think I will go get the second cup of coffee, but did learn this morning that S is going to give my shack a good cleaning and DIL is going to put my air conditioner in (the other one the motor burned up) and I really am looking forward to the ‘remove’ back.
