AMERICA-The Right Way! Weekend Edition,April 12-13, 2008[Remember the Trade Center!]

Good morning!

It's turned chilly again.

Violent storms struck the county's mid-section on Friday.

Bill Clinton, much to his wife's ahem, annoyance, brought up the fake Bosnia story again yesterday, and Obama's comments about rural PA voters drew criticism. His arrogance and high level of self-importance and self-regard are more and more apparent.

okay, tried sleeping but my mind was on what your wrote so did go back & did capture a few pix. Perhaps I can get you to ID things if I post them at perhaps another forum? I know you are a bit leary of having too much info out there even though you are a TEACHER!

I can see the buildings & the runway (like I said all fuzzy) & the community is not too big it appears. I found where you dive. IT is a protected cove & I am sure beautiful.. Once you dive in tropical waters, all else pales.

I haven’t dived (doven? lol!) anywhere else. I do know that I can’t eat pineapple or pomolo in the states. It just isn’t the same.

You have a place labeled as “Jem’s First Locale.” Um. No. I’m thinking that might be Puncak (pronounced “Pun-chalk”) Jaya, a really high mountain (+16,000 feet) with a glacier.

Ah, another look. Nope, that isn’t Puncak Jaya. I can’t really tell where that is, but it is someplace southwest from me.

I think when I went over the area that you had in your bio, I didn’t place the marker over it. The placemarks go neaby & I normally move them so they are NOT right over the exact place but nearby.

You join a great group Jem..I also have SCJ ALito’s summer home, All the Bush homes & a lot of Freepers who I know well, marked. of course family/friends around the world, including Snugs!

The map is right. We do have a bit of shakin' and bakin'. We're on top of the convengence of three fault lines and the local geophysics office told me that we average 50 quakes per day. Of course, we don't feel them. Usually. I haven't felt one for sure in several weeks now.

Snarlin', since Dolly has id'd my area I thought I'd ping you. After today though, let's keep this on the qt.

The first two-and-a-half months were in Sentani, helping out at Hillcrest and getting to know the community.

That explains it. If I’m in the same group as Robert Alito, the Bushes and Snugs, well, I’m a happy camper. I wonder what we’ll all be doing for holiday together? They’ll just have to let me know soon, so I can fit them into my social calendar. LOL!

Yes, you are correct about the first two months. That was way back in ‘95. Then we spent 6 months in language learning on another island. Now, we’re back in Sentani.

On Monday will be soon enough. No worries.

lol

I just went back over Java & I did have that marked. Will remove the other one.. although I think it was from something you referenced but I did not mark it as well....too tired right now so wont remove until I recheck & then maybe relocate it. When I posted the earthquakes I had forgotten I had your locales on it..

I have a freind who owns a LOT of businesses in a community.. I have them marked & it is a fun map to visit.. His home is out in country but his other holdings (about 30 ) are 20 miles away in suburbia!

Good morning!

Sure had fun with lysie, G, and you, Dolly, yesterday a.m. Thanks for the great pics, too!lysie, safe travels back, and we're interested to hear your sightseeing report. If my brain had been working better I would have recommended some more places. But n.e. Ohio often reminds me of your area: the vineyards in Lake Co, n. of where we ate, for example.

kassie, how're you feeling?

Bit, I appreciate the Weekly Standard links you provided. Really, WS isn't toooooo bad, especially Noemie Emery...its just Kristol who makes me cringe every so often, and Barnes, too, for that matter.

Good Morning!

After snow, sleet, and rain all day yesterday, we actually have the sun putting in an appearance.

Actually it was kind of nice to put a fire in the fireplace, and relax.

Morning.

I see Obama has us middle americans clinging to guns and religion because we're bitter?

How out of touch is this guy? We're having too much fun working and playing to be bitter about anything.

Seems to me the only one bitter these days are the libs.

The latest O fuss has me thinking....

He'd be a disaster, of course, if elected...

So....If elected we've got a president who thinks a lot of us are racist, xenophobic, religion & gun-clinging yahoos, right?

And if we don't elect him....a lot of us are proven to be racist, xenophobic, religion & gun-clinging yahoos...

Correct me if my logic is wrong here....
