Looks like it could be very active. Here in Kansas it is pretty boring with just rain....has been a dull severe weather season here so far. But, lots of active weather to the east and south of us.

Ft. Smith NBC 5 reporting tornado on ground near Gore, OK (about 20 miles west of Ft. Smith)

I-40 closed just each of Muldrow, OK.

That is west of Ft. Smith and east of Sallisaw, OK.

Unknown whether it is due to weather or wreck.

CBS6 Tulsa reports tornado on ground east of Muldrow, OK moving toward Ft. Smith area.

Ft. Smith CBS 5 crew moved to hallway as storm/tornadic activity passing directly over their studio.

Tornado in air over Roland, OK, just west of Ft. Smith. and moving into Ft. Smith area.

Crew returning to weather center.

Power out in areas of Ft. Smith. Significant amounts of hail and strong winds. I-40 at mile-marker 3.

Station’s feed is about to go out, losing signal.

Ft. Smith ABC station also losing signal.

I-40 closed just east of Ft. Smith to Alma exit. All lanes closed, vehicles lining up.
