When my mom was a child, they took in a, I guess you'd call him, a rescue dog. Actually, if I remember correctly, there were two of them. Same kind of disposition and they had to get rid of them when one of them bit my great uncle's toe while he ( the was swinging outside on the swing.

I have heard they are wonderful dogs for one person and very smart. Sounds like till lucked out with Beanie!

I've started buying at BJ's since they take coupons. Have any of you noticed that the warehouses are now giving out coupons too? Mr HOB and I are cutting back on the meat dishes. I've upped the fish dishes, however, so we are not saving any money.

Jem also the movie we have discussed a few days ago “Nim’s Island” is supposedly shot in your nect of woods.. I think the actual shooting was Australia / New Zealand.. but it is to be a tropical Island where you “teach”..

I plan to see Leatherheads. I dont like Clooney’s politics but I like his work... bothas an actor & writer/director

When we lived outside of San Antonio someone dumped a Chow pup. He was one of the best dogs we’ve ever had. Very protective of us but loved the grandchildren too. Nikki was probably two and had a runny nose. She’d take a tissue and wipe her nose, then grab Puppy (original name I know) by all the hair on top his head and wipe his nose too. He just loved it.

NOW! I AM OCCICALLY HOME, got my GRITS!!! Which reminds me, got to go to WalMart and get my grit seeds so I can plant the garden when told OK by the doc. I do have some good news, the two kids, TJ and Caleb LOVE grits, they had a mess this morning for breakfast.

The Foster Care has asked Tracy to address a group of Child Care folks to impress them how important it is to get folks involved with the system. She is excited and YES! she hopes to adopt one more sooner than later.

No rain down here yet but it is coming, they say later this afternoon or tonight.It is clouding up and I was getting ready to ruch my walk but don't have to.

I can not tell you all just how it feels to me to get back to chatting with ‘ya’ll’, amazing how one can get addicted to this site and the friend one can make here is wonderful, even if some of you are ‘Yankees’ I realize that you can't help it and you are pretty nice folks.

Amazng how fast one can bounce back after such an operation as I had, I will ve sad as the personal attention I am getting at the ‘big house’ is starting to fade away, I figure that I might have at least one more week, just kidding.
