My Dragon Fly and Me
If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky I would never be shy just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun by day we would hide from the sun our fragile wings would come undone
On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guide we would dip and we would glide through the heavens open wide and scatter diamonds in the night sky my Dragon Fly and me...
And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night... to kiss their face in our flight much to their surprise and delight my Dragon Fly and me in sight...
Such a view do we share away up here in the air of breezes soft through our hair my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

It’s 58 now, already 2 degrees over what was forecast for today. I’m worn out from heavy work the past three days and may have to take today off.
I’ve been trying to beat the four days of forecast rain.

Yup, take the day off, good to give the back a rest.
We need rain badly, the ground is so dry. Early last evening I thought we were going to get a good rain, not so just sprinkled.
I need to plant some Lily bulbs, but I cannot dig in the ground.

The ground is too hard, and don’t have a good shovel for digging, mine is a flat edge, I need a pointed shovel.
Used to be one around here guess it found legs.

There’s a weird thing about pointed shovels. Mine walked, too. Went out and bought a new one and never found the old one.
Ground is too hard? Ugh. I thought my soil was bad!

Today's FEEBLE

YOKE:
A 60-year-old man went to the doctor for a check-up. The doctor told him,
"You're in terrific shape. There's nothing wrong with you. Why, you might live forever. You have the body of a 35 year old. By the way, how old was your father when he died?"
The 60 year old responded, "Who said he was dead?"
The doctor was surprised and asked, "How old is he and is he very active?"
The 60 year old responded, "Well, he is 82 years old and he still goes skiing three times a season and surfing three times a week during the summer."
The doctor couldn't believe it. "Well, how old was your grandfather when he died?"
The 60 year old responded again, "Who said he was dead?"
The doctor was astonished. He said, "You mean to tell me you are 60 years old and both your father and your grandfather are alive? Is your grandfather very active?"
The 60 year old said, "He goes skiing at least once a season and surfing once a week during the summer. Not only that," said the patient, "my grandfather is 106 years old, and next week he is getting married again."
The doctor said, "At 106 years old, why on earth would your grandfather want to get married?"
His patient looked up at the doctor and said, "Who said he wanted to?"
