What a weird place for a Presidential speech...

And, one wonders, why all of the ladies behind him are fairly attractive -- not a serious troll among them.

Ah, photo-op setups....

If I had to sit in one of those 6x6 boxes, 8 hours a day, I’d lose my mind.

add being tied to a phone, answering customer service calls to that...it makes you appreciate the ones who do that job. It takes someone with a lot of patience.

I look at all these buildings, with millions of these people commuting every day, just to sit in these cubicles, like hens in a chicken coop, talking on the phone and useing the computer all day...

Why would these companies not have their people do this out of their homes? We could probably save millions of gallons of gas a day, millions of hours of time commuting, not to mention eliminating thousands of cars off our jammed highways everyday.

I just don't understand this.

Well, increasingly, they're having people in India do it. Sad but true.

But on the telecommuting thing, my managers' main reason is to foster a cohesive "team" of coworkers, working in close proximity, so that we can supposedly learn things from each other easier that way rather than being scattered around in our respective homes. What the managers don't realize is that we instant-message, e-mail and phone each other more often than talk face-to-face anyway, even though we're only several feet from each other.

No, he's not.

Cube wenches like those you see here, will sooner slit your throat as smile at you.

They are the type of wymyn who look for excuses to stick it to their male opponents.
