“McCain calls for tax cuts, job training to lift the faltering economy”
Job training? What would he have us train for? Service jobs he gives to illegal aliens or tech jobs he outsources?
There has been two major layoffs at work this year. Gas is going up and up. We need to drill more oil, build refineries, extend the tax cuts, graduate more doctors, reduce government regulations, etc. Is there any one in Washington with ideas that work. NOOOOOOOOOOO!
I think McCain has in mind auto mechanics, computer programming and TV repair. Maybe this is his opportunity to increase the armed forces for his coming wars with AQ, Iran, Iraq, Syria and Islamo-fascism.
Imagine, if you will, an AP story that reads something like this:
"Presidential candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton, whose famous husband has been implicated in numerous allegations of sexual abuse and harassment, proposed increasing the penalties for such behavior today..."
Not in this lifetime.
Exactly !
I would like to know what he intends to “train” non college kids to do?
We only need so many cooks or nurses aides or hairdressers.. and as you mention the bed making jobs go to the illegals he wants to legalize
They whine that US HS students are by passing the “hard sciences” These kids want real jobs in the US, not China or India.
Bush has single handedly killed what was one the model economy of the world. We have moved to a 2nd world nation heading for 3rd. Our real “free trade” candidate Mc Cain will finish off the job, He is obviously as out of touch as Bush 1 and 2.
The content is more important than the slant.
McCain is an ass
Auto repair is now a HIGH SKILL job that requires a lot of computer knowledge. maybe we can turn out a million or so of them so we can drive the wages down to minimum wage.
Computer programing along with computer production is now done in China and India .
Another elected handout recipient with no creativity, originality or, even, the common sense to see how futile it is to keep giving money away.
For them $50 hr lettuce picking positions in Arizona.
Regards
That's what McCain thinks he's been doing in Washington the last two decades? Go figure.
he did say it
