My post was more directed at the MSM handling of the story than at McCain's proposals.

Imagine, if you will, an AP story that reads something like this:

"Presidential candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton, whose famous husband has been implicated in numerous allegations of sexual abuse and harassment, proposed increasing the penalties for such behavior today..."

Not in this lifetime.
