Patrick Swayze was told that he has five weeks to live after being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.
Swayze, 55, has been sick with the disease since he was diagnosed in late January with pancreatic cancer, but the cancer has since spread to other organs and now the Dirty Dancing star is dying.
For the past month, Swayze has been traveling to Stanford Universitys cancer center for radical chemotherapy, but his doctors are no longer hopeful that the treatments will be successful, according to the National Enquirer.
Swayze received three doses of chemotherapy, causing the tumor to shrink, but less than his doctors had hoped for.
Swayze has reportedly lost more than 20 pounds in the past few weeks and is restricted to a liquid diet because he has trouble keeping down solid food.
hey, it wasn't me, I am just assuming that it is the reason the mod pulled it. Take it up with him/her.
How awful. Not a bad actor & a pretty decent guy. Prayers up for him & his family.
I was trying to find the Chippendale skit on Youtube and all I could find is this video that puts some of the excerpts in it.

I posted it in #27. Not sure if it’s the whole thing or not.
Sorry...I wasn't directing the question at you, just bouncing off your post. I personally don't care for the comments the mods use when they pull a thread. What does "no thanks" mean? They don't want to read it? They don't want us to read it? They don't care for the poster? Bill O'Reilly didn't approve it? WTF???
well, it has made the Wikipedia site.
“On March 5, 2008 the American supermarket tabloid National Enquirer reported that the actor is dying of cancer and has only 5 weeks to live.[2] The Enquirer claims the cancer originated in his pancreas, but quickly spread, and is no longer responding to treatment.

It means they don't want it on Free Repubulic. FR is a privately-owned site. They can do what they want. End of story.
Maybe it was intentional and Snyder was making a comment on Stewart’s accent and attitude.
How sad. Prayers sent for him and his family.
Free Republic. Ironic, don't ya think?
Damn! This is a shame and to be honest I hope it isn’t true. He and his wife have been married a very long time. He seemed very much into family values. No I have no idea what his politics are but seemed to care about his family especially his wife. I bet she will be a disaster if this comes true. Prayers to him and family.
I don’t see it as ironic. Any political forum worth anything has to have some moderation, and I think the mod’s try to be fair.
Pancreatic cancer is a diagnosis a person never wants to get. Steve Jobs had it, but it was a rare form that wasn’t fatal. Pancreatic cancer is almost always fatal and quick.
They try and, as with all humans, sometimes they fail.
I didn’t take issue with their fairness, more with their lack of clarity. If they don’t want a certain story posted, it would help to explain why it was pulled so maybe they wont have to pull as many in the future.
