My Dragon Fly and Me

If I could be a Dragon Fly
and wing my way through the sky
I would never be shy
just me and my Dragon Fly!

By moonlight we ride the wind
chase the comets tail for fun
by day we would hide from the sun
our fragile wings would come undone

On darkest nights we would use
fireflies as our guide
we would dip and we would glide
through the heavens open wide
and scatter diamonds in the night sky
my Dragon Fly and me...

And we would wing past our lovers
silent in the night...
to kiss their face in our flight
much to their surprise and delight
my Dragon Fly and me in sight...

Such a view do we share
away up here in the air
of breezes soft through our hair
my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

Good afternoon Soaring Feather and tomkow. I love music. I was just looking at all of the music that was posted. Certainly varied and impressive.

Calli woke me up because she was hungry. What does a person have to do to hibernate on an off Friday? Hope that all is well.

Glad you are enjoying the music. I think maybe Friday should be play day in the Lair, fun, and music.

Most of posters here are working - The Lair can be a refuge from the storms of daily life. Yeah, I know I am a Drama Queen. LOL

I worked for the mental collapse and I am not going to let my employer deny that me of that. LOL. There were a couple of really long days here very recently. Got it all completed and now I have to wait for it to go through the review cycle. Monday could prove to be interesting.

Friday being a fun day, but of course.

Calli is now napping after dining. I should wake her up as turn-about is fair play.

I didn't have the heart to wake up Calli yet but the feelings to do so are mounting. LOL
