My Dragon Fly and Me
If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky I would never be shy just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun by day we would hide from the sun our fragile wings would come undone
On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guide we would dip and we would glide through the heavens open wide and scatter diamonds in the night sky my Dragon Fly and me...
And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night... to kiss their face in our flight much to their surprise and delight my Dragon Fly and me in sight...
Such a view do we share away up here in the air of breezes soft through our hair my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

What These Daisies Say About You |
You have a spirt of pure optimism. Your view of the world is eternally cheerful. You are bold and vibrant. Incredibly striking, you always stand out in a crowd. You are adaptable and flexible. You can thrive in almost any situation. |

The year's at the spring
And day's at the morn;
Morning's at seven;
The hillside's dew-pearled;
The lark's on the wing;
The snail's on the thorn;
God's in His heaven -
All's right with the world!

Good Morning To The Lair
Love the poem and the daffodils, SF!
We had a nice rain..none of the torrential downpours that
occurred near Dallas. The sun is shining and we will be
in the 60s today..

Hi Meg, oh lovely flowers, thank you.
Happy you are not around the flooding, the pictures I’ve seen on TV are treacherous, such an ordeal to be put through.
Enjoy your warm day.

Morning Meg!
Did you see up there where Ms. Feather said she may get floods, but then she's like "Bah, no big deal"??

LOL, I am in a safe place TT. There are areas not far from me that are lower, if we get heavy rains they sump pumps will be working over time.
We do not have a sump pump in the basement. There is one low spot that collects water - we are in good shape. :0)

She’s tough..
;o)
They had to cancel flights at DFW for a day..That’s rare.
I see Missouri really got it..same system that is moving east.

Oh yes, I saw the MO pictures, too. Good grief that is terrible.
My brother is in MO -he is safe his house in on a hill.

I am on the high side of the street and the ravine behind me is too deep to flood this high. Last year there was a lot of destructive flooding but not on my street.

Okay, I thought you were just being cavalier (Yep, I said it in a sentence) and thumbing your nose at the storms. LOL

Good to know you are out of harms way. Water on the loose is scary! I think I prefer to deal with snow, of course when it melts all at once there are problems.

Well, you were not entirely wrong!! LOL

Word For The Day, Wednesday, March 19, 2008 - slapdash ^

slapdash
Writing a poem in a slapdash manner
is lazy at best and often lacks humor.
In the political world of campaigning among
the masses, one must exhibit some class
when recording the asses!
I dont think Obamas speech was slapdash
it was more like a change of the mask
an old timer once said, from year to year
the faces change, but the game stays the same.
