"And I saw an article a few weeks ago that said the vikings wore no horns on their hemets... " I've read that for a while now...apparently, there aren't any pictures, artifacts or etc. to support Viking with horns on their helmets.

Swedish Viking women in the pre-Christian period probably dressed much more provocatively than we previously believed. 1. You know the rules.
2. Since the previous article you posted about Viking women's clothing, I have been waiting to find out what they are talking about. (Picture = 1000 words).

....We arent talking about a Mediteranean climate here....
Au contraire mi Amigo (Frog mex talk there)
Please recall that Eric the Red et al settled and farmed in Greenland and the mainland of North America.
Their colonies died when the cold made farming impossible.
The climate was in fact much warmer.
My whole take is that the article is extrapolation of the barest of evidence to develop a graduate thesis.

I’ve been waiting to see pictures of these Viking kitties...
THAT is more like it!
I’d still like to see a drawing or sketch of what this researcher believe was the fashion, and how it changed after the turn of the millenium... I looked all over the net last time there was a thread on the subject, but couldn’t find anything even fairly good to post.
