FReeper recommendations for on-line down load of movies - Netflix, Blockbuster or other(s) (Vanity)

Which websites are best for viewing/downloading movies with the most bang for the buck?

TOPICS: Chit/Chat; Music/Entertainment; TV/Movies
KEYWORDS: blockbuster; downloads; movies; netflix
Perusing the search engines for movie download sites, the options are quite varied.

Ergo, the valued opinions from FReeper input/experience would be most appreciated.

Which one(s) are the best value for the most available and newest titles. Seems like the sites are hesitant to show a full listing of their available titles unless you sign up.

One is nothing more than a bit torrent search/pay site. Isn't that kind of like paying for a parking space at the mall?

Recommendations?

We’ve done blockbuster mail and now we’re on Netflix. We like both. I think BB has more selection. We like being able to download TV shows/series/movies across DSL on Netflix, basically for free as part of the $10/month package. I’m not sure BB has that yet.

One thing that has happened as a result of using both of these services is that I no longer watch regular commercial TV at all. I have no tolerance for commercials. Once you’ve seen 5 episodes of Stargate without commercial interruption, you’ll see what I’m talking about.

Also, visit your local library because many of them have large video selections these days, including popular releases — and it’s free. Some of the best history & travel & science series are available that way.
