I’ve been perusing the headlines on the news side of the forum. McCain sure seems to have almost as many proposals for government programs as the RATS do. Yesterday, I read a comment somewhere that we really have a one-party system masquerading as two; that it is just the degree of government which is the argument and not least government vs. big government.

People don’t seem to realize that the parties choosing their nominee doesn’t have to limit us to those two choices. A group of my friends can get together and nominate whomever we wish. We just have to do it 50 times to run in each states’ race in November. Chairman can correct me if I’m wrong.

Afternoon!

I just had time to read 2 of the articles I linked above...one about AlGore, and the other, Billy Boy...

As I started each one I thought: this has GOT to be a parody, but Noooooooooooooo! It wasn't...Folks we are in heap big trouble..

lysie, you feeling better this afternoon?

One bright little note: at lunch today after rehearsal the subject of medical care came up - because, sadly, one of the gal's husbands is not well - and someone said "Good thing you don't live in Canada, you can get him help right away!..And several of the others chimed in, agreeing. THEN - a miracle - someone else connected the dots, and said: and don't for anyone promising national health care! Wow! We usually don't discuss such stuff....
