Hillary lost more caucuses over the weekend. The "superdelegates" are beginning to attract major attention.
And Hillary's longtime friend and campaign manager has stepped aside, for another longtime friend and aide, Maggie Williams.
I'm transcribinb a hand written letter from about 1846....from her brother to my g-g-grandmother.
It's not hard to read, but then there's this: Father thinks he will get a pair of Cocaille horses....
First of all I can't quite make out the 3rd letter in the underlined word, and 2, I can't find anything like it in the dictionary relating to horses. Does this ring any kind of a bell??!!
Molly, I’ve never been taught that we are judged corporately. Wherever did this individual find that or hear of that being so? I am not a theologian, but I have taken several courreligion courses and never heard that being even a teaching of any religion.
Let me do some research (look up Bible verses to back up my belief) and get back to you. But just off the top of my head, when Jesus and the thieves were on the cross, He said to the one that “this day you shall be with me...”. Jesus was addressing an individual, not a group. Also, the woman taken adultery, the blind man who had to wash his eyes, Peter, the Samaritan woman (at the well), all were addressed individually.
It is my understanding that we must individually accept Jesus as our Savior and Lord. It is a free gift and available to all, both those raised in a Christian tradition and those with out (and that does include moslems, hindus and yes, even Baptists! Just kidding about Baptists; I know they’re almost as godly as we Presbyterians!) Hehehe.
Often, the message of grace is presented in a group setting but it has to be individually received.
Molly, could it be Coquille as in the Coquille Indian Tribe? It could relate to horses that they bred?...
Thanks Jem, you so eloguently stated my belief too. At the very least, my humble interpretation of the teachings presentd to me.
Coquille...I'll look at the word & see if it fits...the other thing is the brother - a lad really, in age, could have misspelled the word he was trying to use!

Hi N.B. It is reminiscent of the Beatles first appearance on Ed Sullivan's show. Due to the near, if not complete, surrendering of one's soul to the grandeur of Obama. It borders on idolatry. Only this time it isn't over a musical group that will be involved in changing society. This time it is over an idealogical front that threatens to destroy our republic.

If you haven’t heard, some of those Hurricane Katrinia trailers have been shipped to Lawrence County, AL for use by the 50 or more who lost their homes last Tuesday. Nice to know that after all the money the government spent on them they are being put to good use! Thought you’d like to know.
I just heard they plan on shooting it down.
