I second that emotion.
All I can think of is “Send in the Clowns.”
GEESH!
Can we get a show of hands on this?
Me too.
It may not be so much missing Fred as much as it is being depressed at the remaining choices.
If everyone just voted for the true conservative, Duncan Hunter, instead of saying he doesn’t stand a chance, we wouldn’t be in this sad predicament!!!!
Fred who?
Well Bush ran against a known moron in 2000 and an obvious traitor in 2004... Its only fair that the Hildebeast would run against the “Snitch” of Hotel Hanoi.. Hes still a snitch to the leftists(dumbocrats).. Bizarro world is reality.. the democrats have the Kryptonite.. Where is Americas RIGHT WING?.. They have disappeared, mugged in some politcal alley....
Then he pulled out of the race, what more does he want from me. So NO I don't miss Fred at all, but I look forward to seeing him in another TV show someday.
Life goes on, I have no intention of being miserable because of Hunter or Fred. Two people I did all I could for to get the word out.
I wonder, are any "I voted for Fred" people interested in starting an email or list group of some kind (like a yahoo group or something)?
Lastly, I'm still semi-hoping that either McCain or Romney picks Fred as VP, and then wins the general. Then it would be nice to have Fred a "heartbeat away" from the presidency. I think he would be at least as strong a VP as Cheney, and we wouldn't have any of the associated "Bush is dumb" jokes associated with a McCain-Thompson or Romney-Thompson pairing. Because of his background Thompson could be sent to any foreign capital to negotiate on the president's behalf, could help in national security matters, including cleaning up the CIA, and also could help with the Supreme Court process like he did with Roberts. I also think Thompson would be able to successfully hold his tongue when rifts came up between him and the prez, obviously to the dismay of conservatives, but those are the facts of life.
