I miss Fred. The only one who wasn't running full steam to the land of liberal nowhere. These guys Mitt, McCain, and Huckabee make me sick.

I second that emotion.
All I can think of is “Send in the Clowns.”
To: Maelstorm
Reluctant Fred let you and others down and you snivel about him?
GEESH!

It may not be so much missing Fred as much as it is being depressed at the remaining choices.

You are a Mitt supporter. You are letting all conservatives down because he certainly isn’t one. McCain with all his faults is more conservative than Romney’s record. Check the club for growth check the conservative ratings. As for Thompson letting anyone down. Conservatives let him down by chasing after posers. You see the debates? We have two front runners that on many issues only disagree little with the left. They even speak the language of “change”.

I was already to vote for him ... and waited PATIENTLY through NUMBEROUS false hopes and then FINALLY, he announced and he fell asleep. In the last debate he showed some life but it was too late. No tears here. Pissed.

Nobody who wants to be president should be allowed to be president.
That was the strongest recommendation I could think of for Fred.
What can we do to convince the shiny-loafered pubby elite that we will not accept either McNutball or Romney?

I will be voting for Fred in the VA primary. It will be interesting who the final nominee is. This election is going to be more about VPs on the GOP side than it is about the nominee.

Split the vote. Force a brokered convention.

Really? A candidate has to be a demagogue? A cool appeal to the intellect can’t succeed?
I really don’t like what that says about the electorate.
