Am I the only user with three computers installed with Vista who loves it? I’ve had not a single lock-up in three months and it works perfectly. What’s not to like? What’s the beef?
I know two of the actual beta testers and I respect their judgment. I haven’t seen anything here except a bunch of Microsoft bashing but nothing that shows any particular problems. Why haven’t I experienced these alleged problems?
I installed Vista on my parent’s computer; it locks up about once a week. There’s a card game they like that works perfectly on XP but Vista can’t “deal” with.
I installed Vista on my computer and had a trade-off: speed for beauty and better file presentations. I prefer the speed.
Idea: MS could make a system that would allow super-speed for home work, and a partition for internet activity that has all the security features.
Could anybody do that?
Its called, MSD-Microsoft derangement syndrome. I Myslef love Vista, in fact most of the people who claim to have problems usually dont.
Vista seems slower than XP to me.
So to you Vista it is as fast and reliable as XP?
What kind of computer do you have , RAM, processors etc?
You aren't running proprietary corporate software developed prior to Vista.
You aren't attempting to use hardware developed prior to Vista.
And you aren't doing anything processor-intensive-enough to notice the Vista speed slowdown.
(nor would I believe you if you tried to claim otherwise)
