Michigan? They still have a football team? Who knew?

Current BCS Standings: 1 Alabama 2 Texas Tech 3 Texas 4 Florida 5 Oklahoma 6 USC 7 Utah 8 Penn State 9 Boise State 10 Georgia

While I don't really care (as I wanted Oklahoma State to win it all), the fact that 3 SEC teams and 3 Big 12 Conference teams are to be found in the current top 10 (and no so-called "big" 10 teams unless one counts so-called "big" 10 eleventh team State Pen Penn State) is proof enough that your beloved so-called "big" 10 is not very big at all. As for the BCS Championship, it will likely be a Big 12 team versus an SEC team and I'd guess that it will be Texas and Florida. But maybe Michigan will sneak in there.

and furthermore, at least SEC fans can shoot straight ...

Your post is a deliciously perfect proof of the article on SEC hyperbole. Inflaming you with the fact of 11 wins and 2 losses is far better and far more fun than any of the early bird specials you could possibly go to.......

:-)

Yep, they're bad this year, even worse than I expected. I figured they'd be 5 and 7 this year. So we rebuild, we'll still beat the patsy you send us as per usual when we come back. And we will. Just one or two years and we'll keep ownership of your oh so greatest league ever......it is oh so sad to watch you melt down over our win loss record against you.......

And trust me, Georgia doesn't belong in the top 20. They never did, last weeks' game once again confirms my earlier prediction. Heck, even we could beat them in this horrid year.

Gonna be an ugly BCS finish, especially if Oklahoma beats Texas Tech. I just hope USC doesn't inch in ahead of the Nitally Lions, or anyone else for that matter. I may even root for an SEC Big Twelve match up, even if Tech loses.

You couldn't beat an egg. But it is fun to see you clinging to your desperate hopes. As for Georgia, I never expected them to remain in the top 10. But I doubt that they should be excluded from the top 20, there being so many "big" 10 teams less capable. I too would not like to see USC sneak in but Penn State would be an even bigger joke. Like most "big" 10 teams, they are blessed with incredible slowness and schedules heavy with "big" 10 patsies. They would be humiliated by any of the Big 12 or SEC contenders.

Ummm....

Before you spout off about Penn State, you might want to look at the respective scores of the respective games they (and USC) played against Oregon State this year. It seems that oh so fast USC team was just amazing compared to the slooooooow players of Penn State/sarcasm. You might want to look up the last score between an oh so fast SEC team and those slooooow Penn Staters as well.

I love skewering your idiocy.........you are so pathetically enchanted by your league, you're like a goofy Obama supporter.

Being a masochist (or what one might call a lover of hot, flat and ugly), living in that strange state down there, he just loves it, what else would he do but watch Manatees and go to early bird specials if couldn't lick his wounds on a daily basis?

:-)

Before you, as a Michigan fan, rant about something far beyond your ability to comprehend (football teams that are faster than "big" 10 glacial speed), you might want to have someone read to you what I wrote, your reading skills obviously having deteriorated along with Michigan's ability to play football. I wrote nothing about USC being fast.

Your power rating just went to zero ... along with "big" 10 football.

hot, flat and ugly

preferable to your cold, gray, rusting, rotting, bankrupt and crime-infested center of perpetual decline that is Michigan*

*obscure Indian word meaning "if they are lucky they might win 3 games"

I wrote nothing about USC being fast.

But you did essentially say that with your "Penn State is so slow" and also said they weren't as good as USC, I just showed you the obvious in front of your face.....sort of like, well.....hot flat and ugly.......

Penn State, flat out, is as good, and fast, as any SEC team.

I figure we have 10 months that are far better than yours, and you have 2 months that are better than ours. You can have those two. But even in those two we aren't flat and ugly.......

Amazing. Sort of like 10 wins and 2 losses

But you did essentially say that

In other words, you failed to read what was written and now throw in an "essentially" to pretend as if you did. Nice try.

I do agree, however, with your statement regarding State Pen Penn State:

Penn State, flat.

Yes indeed!

But even in those two we aren't flat and ugly.

How would you know? For approximately 365 days (if you can call Michigan's periods of choking, smut-filled twilight days), the few people left in Michigan who were too thick to flee must stay barricaded indoors or face near certain death from pollution, frostbite or drive-by shooting. You can have it all to yourself.

and at the current rate of emigration, you soon will ... except for the three-eyed fishes and six legged frogs that glow in the dark. You don't glow in the dark, do you?

I dunno, CO. Our wonderful country has faced some bad things in the past but always managed to overcome and be stronger, better as a result. In recent years we’ve survived Carter and Clinton. Somehow we’ll get through this one, too.

How would you know?

I've visited your state during those months several times. The weather is okay then, and as long as you ignore the flat and ugly, it's fine (although that is admittely hard to igoner).

I'd much rather visit the Caribbean or Hawaii though. Floriduh has too many blue hairs and strange drivers who are too old to have licenses......very skeery.....

Sort of like Pup suddenly loving every team after it has won the national championship.

Reminds me of the donkey in Shrek yelling "Pick me! Pick me!"
