So good to see you, Gran! You sound a bit frazzled, wish I could do something to help you out. Planning a wedding, eh?
Knowing you, it will be a grand occasion with everyone feeling like royalty! I know it’ll be beautiful. I’ll be crossing my fingers for perfect weather on that special day. :)

Heh. 4784 & 4785

Did that just to test the resident schoolmarm (aka mascot) of the thread to see if she was on her toes today.........and if you believe that, I sell bridges too......

*Feeling sheepish*

Great to see you, Darlin’. Hope things are going well in your neck of the woods.

I get the feeling you don’t like Obomba too much. Haven’t you heard? He can stop bullets with his teeth! Leap tall buildings in a single bound! Take Chuck Norris down with his hands tied behind his back! How can you not stand before him in awe? :)

I loved your gas sign, that pretty much sums it up!

Thanks for the funnies, Darlin’ You brightened my day. :)

An appropriate song for you would be “slip-sliding away” by Simon and Garfinkel (or whoever that fuzzy-headed guy is).
I’ll even sing it if you beg me to. :P

Well, fuzzy head. It was by Paul Simon when he went on his own, and not Simon and Garfunkle.

Obviously you are so olod you didn't remember the difference.........or the spelling for that matter.....

And please, whatever you do, don't sing.......you probably sound like the seagull in "The Little Mermaid"

Finkle, Funkle, funky either way.

Awww, you watched Little Mermaid? How cute, Grampa!

I do not sound like the seagull....more like Barbara Walters on crack. :P

Some of the cheesy skin flick tunes are in tyhe music hopper right now.
The theme from Behind the Green Door being one.

Sorry, I don’t watch cheesy skin flicks, Darks, so I don’t have a clue what you’re talking about. But then I never really do...:P

Think 1970’s disco music and cheesy pickup lines.
Pizza delivery boy, “Did somebody order..[dramatic pause] Pepperoni?”

Oh you mean crap like “If I followed you home would you keep me?” Sorry, I don’t own a cage, hehe.

I’m WAY too young to remember the 70’s, Darks. Someday you’ll have to explain it all to me.....if you can remember that far back in time. :P

Thanks, Darlin’. I did a few flyovers back in the day. As the clip showed, to cross the field just as the last note of the Star Spangled Banner is played was the object.

"... to cross the field just as the last note of the Star Spangled Banner is played was the object."

Thankyoueversomuch :) I'm happy you enjoyed it. It is a thrilling sight to experience on the ground but it must be wonderfully exciting to help bring it about.

Mornin’, gran :) Weddings are sooooo much work but you know you love it :) Yippee! Great work and even greater news about the “sugar” and the 20 pounds :) You’re gonna knock ‘em dead with that new, sleeker body out by the pool this winter.

Things are great down this way. Hot and steamy as always LOL. So far, I've been able to slip away for a few days to cooler climes a couple of times and that rejuvenated me. Looking forward to a bit longer getaway pretty soon.

How about you, good summer ?

Ahhh, that’s why you only pop in occasionally....you slip away to cool off. Smart thinkin’, Darlin! We’ve had a very nice summer too. Great weather, barbeques, trips to the coast. I can’t believe it’s August already. Almost time to break out the sweaters and I’m just not ready for that yet. I’d better get put there and enjoy it while I can!

Great weather mud, barbeques sticks, trips to the coast up the river to the dam.

Fixed

Grampy is just grumpy cuz he didn’t pick up any hot Grammas at the lake today. I told you not to wear those plumber shorts...you scared ‘em all off! :P
