AUSTIN (AP) -- Police have arrested an 24-year-old Austin man after a cat found his hidden stash of child pornography.
A woman who moved into an Austin apartment once occupied by Luis Jimenez noticed her cat could stick its head in a gap between the pantry and the ceiling in the kitchen.
The warrant says a friend, when reaching into the gap, found DVDs containing child porn.
Authorities believe Jimenez forgot the stash in the apartment when he moved out last year.
The new tenant took the DVDs to the apartment office and police were able to track them to Jimenez. He's charged with possession of child pornography. Bond is $4,000.
Possession of child pornography is a third-degree felony punishable by up to ten years behind bars and a fine up to $10,000.

Glad they caught the guy but I hope they have more evidence. A good lawyer would probably successfully fight that they were his.
And whats with the $4000 bond. Shouldn’t that be closer to $4 million.

I don't think I've lived a sheltered life but it blows my mind that so many seem to be into this stuff.
Shoot them all.

A lot depends on the the competence of the police's computer forensics examiner(s). Unless the guy is really sophisticated or has changed computers, the DVDs can probably still be linked to his computer.

Took a look at the link you provided.
Seems like it was written by an anti-Semite.
Real nice.
