Here are my thoughts for this weeks round:
Luke Menard - Wake Meow Up Before You Go Go
Well
hell be waking us up before he go gos. Its too bad his voice doesnt match his looks. Unfortunately, his voice is too whispery and soft and I'm afraid it's not strong or powerful enough to make it in this competition.
David Archuleta - Another Day in Paradise
And another day in your liberal world, eh? Ya know, I was liking him until this week. Enough with the freakin boo-hoo-cry-me-a-river-liberal messages already. Ugh. TOTAL TURN OFF. He can sing, but his agenda is too much to ignore now.
Danny Noriega - Tainted Love
Tainted something
.Ugh! He could not be, any more gay, really! And his dancing (if you want to call it that) and moving around while he sings, is just gross. He is TMTH.
Hes SO in my Bottom 2
David Hernandez - Its All Coming Back To Me Meow
Its all coming back to him now and I liked him last night. He still has a great strong voice and he isnt bad eye candy. And although theres a lot of hoopla because he used to be a stripper, yadda yadda yadda, I think people should let bygones be bygones and leave it alone. IMO, no one should judge him by his past and hold it against him when hes obviously trying to better his life. And we all know AI has double standards, so dont even go there.
In my Top 3
Michael Johns - Dont You Forget About Meow
I dont think many will forget about him, he has a great stage presence. Its too bad he didnt pick an INXS song
he would have been so much better. This song choice was just alright for me. I like him and want him to do good, so I hope next week, hell pick a better song for his voice.
David Cook - Hello
Hello, You suck AND you ruined a good song and made it sound just like the crap on the radio today, thanx!! I find the more I hear and see this guy, the more I cant stand him.
In my Bottom 2
Jason Castro - Hallelujah
Hallelujah, he didn't have his guitar tonight. I have to say I really liked his performance tonight. I still dont like the look/dreds, but I loved how he sounded. Hes got a good unique sounding voice.
In my Top 3
Chikezie Eze - All The Woman I Need
And he had all the song he needed too. He did much better this week and impressed me. See? Song choice makes a difference and I have to disagree with Simon on this one.
In my Top 3

Luke should have done a Kenny Loggins tune...more to match his voice.

I really like Jason Castro’s “What a Day for a Daydream”.
Light, bright, non-preachy, nothing lewd, no attitude...

Anyone know if Idol is online anywhere from tonight? (or always?) Ive got friends out of the country wanting to watch from afar and I knew if anyone knew itd be one of you guys! :-) Rickey.org always has the performances up on YouTube and embedded mp3 within a few minutes of each performance, although I sometimes have trouble accessing his site. I've tried to use a place called AIondemand but the files have never played for me. I wish I could get that one to work.

As a fan of the Cure, I have never heard the Cure perform/cover Tainted Love (unless it was during one of their concerts... Ive never been much of a concert-goer). Soft Cell did the song, which was actually a cover of an obscure song (and the Where Did Our Love Go extension was of course a more popular cover of the Supremes)
Thanks for clearing that up, I wasn't sure who did that song and I read on some spoilers that it was a Cure song.

He seems to be toning down the dreads--they were tied back tonight. But I think he's stuck with them now. If he tries to alter his appearance that way, he'll alienate the voters.Baloney. He should just shave his head. Problem solved. Welcome to the 21st Century.
Frankly I wouldn't eat at the same table with a guy with dreadlocks. They are disgusting and they are so annoying I can't really hear the music. Jason Castro may be a musical genius, but he looks like an infectious disease.

Did Daughtry grow his hair out during the show? No. He stayed bald.
Castro is stuck with his dreads.
