I'll be shocked if Noriega goes. I was perusing the comments on MJ's AI blog this morning and was shocked at the number of people who thought he is "fierce" and "entertaining" and all sorts of other things. Just one sample:

Danny Noriega - So fantastically fierce and fabulous. He started winning me over last week, and has continued. He will be getting a few votes from me tonight. Song choice ROCKED. And I have to say, my roommate RAN into the room when his performance started. And she loved it.

Luke Menard should be shot for doing a Wham! song.

LOL!

I think Hernandez will stay, not that I want him to.

I guess it would be too much to hope for that he and Danjaya could be eliminated before the Top 12.

He’s so socially conscious he’s become the Inconvenient Contestant.

OMG. That is classic. Monchichi has a new nickname!

1. Luke Menard: He has a nice voice, but it's a bit too tenorish for me. I think he'll be going home tonite.

2. David Archuleta: This was not his best performance but he'll stick around.

3. Danny Noriega: He is such a drama queen!

4. David Hernandez: His direct look into the camera is so David Copperfieldish. That aside, he did a good job last night.

5. Michael Johns: As much as I like this guy, I don't see him winning AI. There's no wow factor to him.

6. David Cook: I hate his combforward hairstyle. He has great vocals and did really well tonite.

7. Jason Castro: I LOVE this kid! There's just something about him. I hope he goes far with this competition.

8. Chikezie: Boring ... I think he's going home tonite.

Removed the unnecessary adjective for you.

I think Stripper Dan and Luke go home. It should be Luke and Big Gay Dan but stupid kids will keep him in for a while...

I think the stripper's name is David. But, who cares as long as he goes home.

“I think the stripper’s name is David. But, who cares as long as he goes home.”

You are right...I simply don’t care enough to make the effort to get it right...;-)

Hernandez looks a little like Ray Romano, but he REALLY looks like that guy from the show “Oz” — Kirk Acevedo.

Here's one, even without a shirt to stay in the stripper theme! lol

I guess it would be too much to hope for that he and Danjaya could be eliminated before the Top 12.

I'll settle for them both being gone before the top 10. Top 10 are the ones that go on tour.

Dial Idol has Luke and the stripper as the two lowest vote getters. Hate to see Luke go before Danjaya, but if Danjaya goes noext week, that could work, too.

“He’s so socially conscious he’s become the Inconvenient Contestant.”

By far, the best line I’ve heard in ages. I love it!

I think Jason Castro is adorable. I liked his performance but I don’t know why they all went gaga over it either. Maybe that’s why I’m not in the music business.
