He could possibly "Obama" his way to the finale. He could. So far, I think the girls are weak this year, and only a couple of guys are giving The Manipulative One a run for his money. I'm glad Michael Johns seems to have gotten back on track, per your commentary. I hope our wild-child rocker girl does the same tomorrow night.

Projected Winner Clinton 7,064 62% 0 Well, I guess she'll stay in it.
I have mixed feelings.

Even though he sang a cheesy Wham song that set off gaydars nation wide, he deserves to stay more than a couple of others. He needs help.

I had them when I was under 5, so I guess that was the very late 70’s. I don’t know if they were all the rage, but they were with me! :-)

I really think McCain can beat Hillary. Lots of young kids (the ones who were actually going to vote) and blacks will be pissed off and stay home. Who knows. I sure don’t.

If hes packaged well then I think he could be okay but the guys seem to be lacking a superstar. So far, everything Johns has done on the show bears out the accuracy of your observation. I'm still holding out hope that he steps it up.
As for "the prodigy," you, Jonny and I all have the same reaction to him.

A pro or semi-pro put in to win.
Think of that South American little league team who put in the 17 year old pitcher and told everyone he was 12 or 13 to help them win.

...he deserves to stay more than a couple of others.I'm so glad I'm not alone! Luke can really sing and deserves to stay the main problem is that he went first. May be the kiss of death for him.
BTW thanks again for hosting this year. This is my first night posting. I've been way too busy up 'til now, but it's good to be back among FRiends.

And Kelly and Reba's duet of "Because of You" was nominated for an Academy of Country Music Award today :)Thanks for the news, Jonny. It was nominated for a Grammy and for a similar award at whatever that other Country music awards show is that they have in the fall. Didn't win either time. Maybe the third time is the charm, but I suspect it didn't/won't win because it isn't really a Country song (or because of Kelly's nasty public fight with Clive, or maybe both reasons). BOY was VERY popular on Country radio this year, though, and sold very well. Helped boost Reba's album to the top.
